Al-Safa Islamic Financial Services Unit (AIF Unit/ the Unit) a part of the Sri Lanka’s largest non-banking financial institution People’s Leasing & Finance PLC (PLC) commenced Islamic financing business in October 2005. Today the Unit has become one of the leading providers of Islamic financial services in Sri Lanka. The customer segment of AIF Unit ranges from corporate, SME to high net worth individuals and professionals who are mainly functioning in trading, transportation, agriculture and services sectors in the economy. AIF unit offers a range of Ethical Shari’ah compliant Financial options with very competitive rate and to cater the current market requirement of our valued customers, which utilizes this fund base strictly on shari’ah compliant business activities. The Company has Seven dedicated branches to offer Islamic financial services to prospective clients and all conventional branches of PLC are also equipped to deliver Islamic financing products and services across the country.
