People’s Leasing employees shine at the XI Open Veterans’ Athletic Championships – 2022
Employees of the People’s Leasing & Finance PLC (PLC) performed admirably at the XI Open Veterans’ Athletic Championships – 2022 held on the 27th and 28th of August at Bogambara Stadium, Kandy. The event was organised by the Central Province Veterans’ Athletic Association.
Sherman Fernando of PLC won Gold medals in both Men’s 110m and Men’s 400m Hurdles. S. Sivakumar won Bronze medals in both Men’s 1500m and Men’s 5000m events. M.A.V. Wasantha won the Bronze medal in Men’s javelin throw whereas M. Mohan N. Nanayakkara won the Bronze medal in Men’s 110m hurdles. K. Sampath Prasanga won the Bronze medal in hammer throw.
