Honoring the Women Driving Success at People’s Leasing
Women play a pivotal role in society, navigating various life stages while making significant impacts. They have consistently been at the forefront of change, shaping communities, driving innovation and inspiring future generations.
In celebration of International Women’s Day which falls on 8th March 2025; the People’s Leasing Welfare and Sports Club has organized a special event to honor the dedication and the contribution of the female staff of the Head Office and the branches. This event aimed to recognize their commitment and efforts in propelling the company to greater highest, aligning with the International Women’s Day theme “Accelerate the Action”.
A special programme was organized to educate “Healthy Lifestyle for Busy Women” by the guest speaker, Doctor Chathurika Balasooriya, Senior Registrar in Clinical Nutrition at the National Hospital.
Mr. Sanjeewa Bandaranayake, General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of People’s Leasing expressed his appreciation for the women’s dedication in balancing their professional and personal lives across different life stages at PLC. He further emphasized enthusiasm for building a strong female workforce within the company.
